They also master parenting skills to give greater support, positive and consistent discipline, structure, and better family communication. Their children now come to school ready to learn.

Multilingual

All our curriculum, training, and materials are in Spanish, English, and Hmong. Thousands of parents have completed our eight-week workshops in Spanish.

Affordable costs

Teams receive a complete package of training materials. They are ready to start leading parent classes right after the 2-day training. All materials, books for parents, and multi-lingual training for up to 5 team members are included in a single affordable cost.

Assets for Achievement—proven building blocks of success

We are a university-affiliated program bringing parents the best practices in youth development. Our research partner, the Search Institute, has identified 40 Developmental Assets through their research on more than two million youth— these are the practices of youth who succeed in school and resist drugs.

Parenting Partners gives parents the skills to build these 40 Assets in their children. We are Search Institute’s training resource across North America for parent engagement.

Local teams are credible and sustainable

Family Leadership trains and completely resources a leadership team from your school site to facilitate the program. Parents trust local staff and parents and they love to participate in the interactive workshop sessions!

Choice parent graduates then join the leadership team, making the program sustainable year after year.

Elementary and Preschools, Middle Schools, and High Schools all have Parenting Partners teams.

Content that makes existing frameworks click

If you are using Epstein’s Network of Partnership Schools framework from Johns Hopkins, Parenting Partners training can bring the content you need to implement that framework.
Parenting Partners curriculum is approved for Prop 49 funding by the California Dept of Education's After School Resource Center.
Many districts are using this content for their Migrant Ed, Program Improvement, and Literacy programs.
